NEW TYPE PAVILION
When I was an architecture student I traveled to many traditional architectural sites.

One of the most impressive one was called so-soe-won. The building of a small scale was surrounded by the landscape like an eastern painting.
The lifted-folded door-windows floated like feathers.
After few more visits I designed a new type of pavilion with the special and sensual experience learned through the traditional ones.
Something moves slowly on a large rock-island which looks almost grotesque and lonely.
The past moves directly into the future. Roof tiles change into operable steel fins, and thus the roof itself becomes lighter.

Moreover, it moves freely with the assistance of mechanical technology.
In the end it will evolve into wings. The windows spread throughout the entire wall plane to change into breathing flaps.
The small desk where traditional students learned about Mencius and Confucuis has changed into high-end notebook unnoticeably.

I have embraced feminine principle in an instant-eternity of changes. Maybe I am longing for a human warmth although many things have turned cold.
