Moon design office_ in the winter of 2003, a client who had seen my work in a magazine came to visit me. This was the first time that such a thing had happened to me. He was also a designer. Everything went on smoothly until the middle of the construction phase when the general contractor and the client sued each other.
A large waving cloth was fluttering above mass produced houses called jipjangsa house that had been popular in Korea in the 1970's, split into seven pieces in an unexpected way. Like fingers, the mesh-like pieces squirmed downward, some of them fluttering above and below the house. One finger even entered the house and then emerged a while later. It was so intriguing to me that I decided to observe the inside of the house and one of the fingers became a stairway and a foot mat. When I got out of the house and saw the cloth from a distance, each of the fingers were still there with their respective characteristics.
Alas! Is this the miracle of the 7 fingers?...
